Welcome to the Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women's website. We are glad you chose to look us up.
We are over 1,200 women strong in 33 clubs across the state. We have two more clubs awaiting charter and a couple more clubs in the beginning stages. We work together for a common philosophy to increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active political involvement and participation.
We are part of the almost 80,000 National Federation of Republican Women, one of the largest and most influential political organizations in the United States.
The objectives of the OFRW are:
- To promote an informed electorate through political education and activity
- To increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active political participation.
- To facilitate cooperation between Republican Women's Clubs
- To promote loyalty to the Republican Party, its candidates and its ideals.
- To support the objectives and conservative policies of the Republican Party and to work for the election of good conservative candidates into political office.
If you are interested in becoming a more informed voter, making new friends, meeting political leaders and candidates for elective office face-to-face, and you agree with our objectives, we invite you to join us. Contact information for local clubs is provided on the website under the "club" button.
Direct membership is available if there is not a club in your county - or let's start one. Contact the District Director in your Congressional District or the OFRW state president. With a direct membership ($20 per year) or by joining a local club you will receive the OFRW newsletter three times a year, and receive the NFRW magazine "The Republican Woman" online three times a year.
Let's Get Connected!
Sincerely,
Debra Henley
State President
OFRW
Let it be resolved that the Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women, also known as the OFRW, whole heartedly object to the mandated Government Health Care bill signed into law on March 23, 2010 by President Barack Hussein Obama. Furthermore, may it be known, that the OFRW supports the Tenth Amendment of the Constitution of the United State in that certain powers are reserved for the state and not the Federal government, and that the OFRW supports the Oklahoma state legislature regarding Joint Senate Resolution #59 to opt out of any federal mandates related to the new healthcare bill.
