OFRW   Projects

The Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women have many projects that they are involved in on a yearly basis.  Below are the different projects that you can be involved with as a member of our organization.

2012 SCHOOL EDUCATION PROJECT
:

This year’s project is designed to encourage students, their parents and sponsors to extend learning beyond the classroom and into the community.  The challenge is “In the great fulfillment we must have a citizenship less concerned about what the government can do for it, and more anxious about what it can do for the nation. “*   * Nation involves your community and can be your family, church, school, neighborhood, town/city, county, state, etc.

"FIRST LADIES" ANNUAL EVENT

Become a "First Lady" of the OFRW.  This group is made of a select group of women who have shown a passion for working for the Republican party and the OFRW by being active in the many activities offered through out the year. This is OFRW's main fundraising project each year.  Ladies are initiated into this specific group of women during this yearly event.  The money that we raise, from this project, goes into our campaign account and used to help candidates during the general elections.  This event is by invitation only.  The amount for new initiates is $100 and renewals are $75.  This event is traditionally held in the fall of each year.

The date for the 2011 First Ladies event is Friday, October 14, 2011 and will be held at the Phillips Pavilion on the grounds of the Governorn's Mansion in Oklahoma City.  If interested in receiving an invitation please contact the committee chairman at okcrweditor@republicanwomen-okc.org
